Sheraton is holding a limited amount of rooms for this event.  When making a reservation, please indicate that you are participating in the 40th Ethnography in Education Research Forum to receive conference rates. Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia

Homewood Suites by Hilton University City, Philadelphia

4109 Walnut Street, (215) 382-1111. This is the newest hotel in University City, located only 3? blocks from the conference site.  Rooms are studios and one-bedroom suites. Rooms are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, a full size refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Indoor swimming pool available. Free hot breakfasts are included.

Apple (HI-USA) HOSTEL

32 S. Bank Street (215) 922-0222 . On a tight budget? HI-USA Hostel on Bank Street is about three and a half miles from Penn, downtown on the Delaware River. Ideally located for city night-life; easy public transportation to the University. Several room options are available from 18-bed dormitory rooms to standard queen rooms (from $ 28  to $ 80). Free wifi and breakfast are included.

Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast

3300 Baring Street (215) 387-6065 10-minute walk to the University. Nonsmoking policy. Deposit equal to one night's stay is required prior to arrival or equal to half of entire stay (whichever is greater). Rates include breakfast and are for single/double occupancy. Free wifi.

The Gables

Rates range from $100 to $200 depending on room and number of people. Rates include off-street parking on the premises and full breakfast. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. All rooms have private phones, easy hook-up to the Internet (including wireless), and cable television. Computer station available and free wireless internet. A refrigerator and microwave are available for guest use. A roll away bed may be added to some rooms to accommodate another person for an additional charge. Check availability online. Must call to reserve a room.
